An undated loyal petition, of about 1653, 'A voice out of the hearts of diverse that waite for the Lord Jesus, in Denbighshire', to Lord General Cromwell and the officers of the army of the Commonwealth: 'for wee are fully assured that the late and long sitting Parliament was grown (as to the major part) too rusty for the high and supernaturall worke, now on the wheeles in the earth.
