London fellows, candidates, licentiates, licentiates in midwifery and extra licentiates of the Royal College of Physicians, members of the Royal College of Surgeons, members of the Society of Apothecaries, and fellows of the Medical Society of London, as well as officers and council of the society, and vice-presidents, officers and medical assistants of the Royal Humane Society for the Restoration of Human Life, and the officers and directors of the Society for the Relief of Widows and Orphans of Medical Men in London and its Vicinity, are listed in Holden's Triennial Directory of 1805 to 1807.

English and Welsh bankrupts and their solicitors (1822)
The Monthly Magazine or British Register included a section each month of Bankruptcies extracted from the London Gazette, followed by a list of dividends. These are the bankrupts (and their solicitors) listed in the 53rd volume, 1 February to 1 July 1822.

Apothecaries (1823)
The membership list of the Associated Apothecaries and Surgeon-Apothecaries of England and Wales lists members alphabetically by surname and christian name, usually giving address. Those marked P. had served the office of President; V. P. as Vice-President. Those marked with an asterisk had previously been upon the General Committee; those with a dagger were on the then present Committee.

Petitioning Creditors and Solicitors (1828-1829)
Principal creditors petitioning to force a bankruptcy (but often close relatives of the bankrupt helping to protect his assets). Perry's Bankrupt and Insolvent Gazette was printed monthly for subscribers only, and included a section entitled Bankrupts, summarizing notices of bankruptcy proceedings. Volume 4, for 1829, covers bankruptcies gazetted from 2 December 1828 to 24 November 1829. The Gazette provided an index to the names of the principal bankrupts, but we have prepared this index to the names of the principal creditors, together with some stray names and solicitors from the records.

William White's directory lists traders, farmers and private residents in the area. Todmorden lay mainly in the parish of Rochdale, Lancashire, but partly in the parish of Halifax, in the West Riding of Yorkshire. These pages also include Kirkburton, Cartworth, Fulstone, Hepworth, Holmfirth, Scholes, Shelley, Shepley and Wooldale.
