In South-Britain, or England' gives the names (and often the annual salaries) of the government functionaries, civil servants, churchmen and military, systematically arranged section by section. Section 30 lists the commissioners and other officers for the Stamp Duties, including the clerks, stampers, rolling-press printers, layers and takers of paper on and from the rolling presses, and the searchers and surveyors of cards and dice.
