(1808) The European Magazine was published monthly in London; volumes 53 and 54 cover January to December 1808. At the close of each volume a list of English bankrupts is given for the half-year, with surname, initials, address, trade, and the names of the solicitors dealing with each case. Poachers committed to prison at Knutsford in Cheshire
(1833-1836) In response to a parliamentary enquiry, returns were made in early 1836 from each of the gaols in England and Wales of the number of commitments, prosecutions, convictions and sentences under the game laws since 1 November 1833. The returns varied in scope; most give the full name of each poacher, date, and sentence. The usual offence is that of 'poaching', i. e. being out armed in the night in pursuit of game; occasionally it was aggravated by assaulting a gamekeeper &c.ALLMOND. Insolvents in England and Wales
(1846) Perry's Bankrupt and Insolvent Gazette, issued monthly, included lists of insolvencies and stages in the process whereby the insolvents petitioned for release from debtors' prison.
