(1783) These are the headquarters papers of sir Guy Carleton, British commander-in-chief at the end of the American war of independence. Many of the individuals recorded were part of the British military administration, but others are refugees and merchants whose lives had been disrupted by the conflict. Unclaimed Dividends: Consolidated 3 Per Cent Annuities
(1791) In Spring 1791 this list was issued, of the 'Names and Descriptions of the Proprietors of Unclaimed Dividends on the Public Funds Transferable at the Bank of England, Which became due before the 31st of December, 1780, and remained unpaid the 31st of December, 1790. Dominica Slave Owners (1838) Slavery was abolished throughout the British Empire by act of Parliament in 1833. This list, published in 1838, gives details of compensation paid to owners who had suffered by the emancipation of their slaves after abolition. The table gives the date of the award, the number of the claim, the full name of the party to whom payment was awarded, the number of slaves, and the sum paid. Few masters had owned more than 100 slaves; most of the claimants had only a few. The cost of the loss of a single slave was generally assessed at about £20. There were 1030 claims from Dominica, including some that were abandoned, disallowed, or still unsettled because of litigation.

Dublin University Electors
(1868) The roll of all persons entitled to vote at elections for members to serve in Parliament for the University of Dublin lists living graduates of the university, arranged alphabetically by surname and christian name(s), with current residence, dates at which their degrees were conferred - Vern. denoting the Spring, Aest. the Summer, and Hiem. the Winter Commencements - and date of registration. Members of the Senate and electors on the books of Trinity College are distinguished by a dagger. Where an elector's name is given in italics, he was no longer known at the residence given.GERVAIS. Naturalizations
(1927) The Home Office issued monthly lists of aliens to whom Certificates of Naturalization had been granted by the Secretary of State and whose oaths of allegiance had been registered in the Home Office. These notices, from January to December 1927, refer to naturalizations from December 1926 to November 1927. The lists give full name (surname first) with any aliases; country of origin; occupation; full postal address; date of taking the oath.
